As far as the opening of classes is concerned everything is ready in UNEP-Basic Education Department (Elem & High School). UNEP elementary opened the classes last Monday, June 1 along with other elementary schools in the country. UNEP High School opened their classes last Monday too. The Basic Education Department is in full-blast service. It is aimed at providing quality education to its pupils/students and quality service to the entire community.

The signage “SILENCE PLEASE” should be observed in the corridors because classes are going on. This is the scenario in our classrooms as the school classes opened this June in all levels.

UNEP basic education is proud and very much pleased with the turn-out of the enrolment. The department has a significant increase in enrolment as of today. The principals, teachers and staffs are encouraged with the challenge of teaching more pupils and students to make them better individuals.
