UNEP Mr, Ms Intrams ’09 named
 
     IRIGA CITY --- Players and students of the University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) who enjoyed the  annual university-wide intramurals had a good time cheering Roger John Placido and Ms. Crislene Rempillo who won  the Mr. and Miss Intrams 2009 titles during the selections held at the school’s gymnasium here on Aug. 25.
 
     Hosted by ABS-CBN Bicol MAG TV NA Oragon  hosts Roejan Magnaye and  Suzain Aguilar, the reigning Miss Kaogma 2009, the event was attended by UNEP President, lawyer Peachy Alfelor-Moraleda together with other school officials.
 
     Aside from the lucky duo, two other pairs of students landed first and second runners up in the persons of: Errol Christian Tayas and May Francis Ocampo, and
Marzki Escobido and Ruby Cereza, respectively.
 
     UNEP Media Relations Director Melody Ordonez, chairperson of the Judges and Media Coverage Committee said that to ensure that the winners really deserve to win the coveted school titles, UNEP chose credible professionals to compose the Mr. and Ms. Intrams 2009’s Board of Judges.  The Board of Judges was chaired by Luisito Benjamin Taduran together with members: Noel Volante, professor of the Ateneo de Naga University;, GMA 7 Sales and Marketing Officer Carla Canlas; and SM City Naga Events and Marketing Officer Irving Noleal.
 
     The multi-awarded UNEP Chorale sang the national anthem during the opening of the competition, while the school’s Performing Arts Dance Troupe rendered intermission numbers.
 
     The anchors during the UNEP Mr. and Miss Intrams 2009 were Norberto and Nina, both Alfelor and who are grandchildren of Wawa.
 
      UNEP Vice President for Finance Del Alfelor Tibi who was in the United States extended her full support during the event.
 
      This year’s UNEP intramurals was the 20th year that the university marked the
 annual games with the selections of the Mr. and Ms. Intrams.
