Kindergarten Department
The Kindergarten Department of the University of Northeastern Philippines aims to deliver a high quality education in a fun and educational technique. We believe that pupils in this level should not only learn how to sing, write, read and count but they must learn how to enjoy their childhood. Preschoolers are already actively engaged in scientific learning, both inside the classroom and out. We do a few of these fun and simple ways to engage your child in science learning. Experience no fear of leaving your children at school at an early age because our well-trained and educated teachers will let your children feel that being in school is “fun, fun, fun” and learning is “fun, fun, fun” as more than as playing. Pupils at the Kindergarten Department of the University are being taught to expand their love of learning, their general knowledge, their ability to get along with others, and their interest in reaching out the world. We make sure kindergarteners are ready for elementary school does not mean substituting academics for play time, forcing children to master grade school “skills”, or relying on standardized tests to assess children’s success. The University of Northeastern Philippines Kindergarten department “curriculum” includes events such as snack time, recess and individual and group activities in addition to those activities we think of as traditionally educational. Developmentally appropriate, we foster pupils for the growth of their self-esteem, their cultural identities, their independence and their individual strengths. In addition, we assure pupils will develop their control of their own behavior through guidance and support of warm, caring adults. Our teachers have a strong background in early childhood education and child development can best provide for children what they need to grow physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually.
