UNEP is the FIRST AND ONLY school in Iriga City Division to pilot the strengthened senior high school program this coming school year 2025-2026.
The Department of Education released a joint memorandum dated today, May 16, 2025 indicating the list of the 727 approved schools out of 1, 277 nominees to pilot the implementation of the Strengthened SHS program.
UNEP was the only school in the Iriga City Division that reached the HIGHLY READY category thus, including it in the list of 22 schools to pilot in the entire Bicol Region.
Grade 11 learners will expect a more comprehensive and responsive curriculum leading to a clearer career pathway.
More so, they will enjoy the benefit of Free School Uniform, Free ID, Free Insurance, and 1,000.00 discount on books.
In addition, the new SHS program will allow the learner to enjoy a shortened time daily.
