The University of Northeastern Philippines School of Law was founded by the late
Hon. Felix O. Alfelor, Sr., guided by a vision of advancing legal education rooted
in justice, integrity, and public service. Inspired by the ideals of Apolinario Mabini,
the institution was established to contribute meaningfully to the development of the region.
The law program formally opened in 1980 under the leadership of its first Dean,
Atty. Felix R. Alfelor, Jr., a distinguished legal scholar and public servant.
Since then, the School of Law has maintained its commitment to academic excellence,
producing graduates who have excelled in both public service and private practice.
Today, the School continues to shape competent, ethical, and socially responsible
legal professionals dedicated to upholding the rule of law and serving the nation.
