We foremost aim that you're stay in the Library, a repository of knowledge and information and the heart of the University, shall be an enlightening and worldwide experience.
Vision
In cognizance of the very important role the library plays in carrying out the vision, mission, goals and objectives of the University and in the lives of the future professional, the UNEP library envisions itself to be a moving force in the promotion of a research culture, a resource center where people can explore, gain, and improve their knowledge through its various resources, and a hub for intellectual exchange in the Bicol Region.
Mission
It shall endeavor to establish a rich venue for research, an environment that is conducive to manโs search for knowledge and information, and be a proactive member of the academic community that it serves. It shall be a leading force in the interplay of library and information network in the province and the region and be a potent contributor towards UNEPโs goal of developing a person that is ethically, mentally, morally, spiritually and physically sound โ a globally competitive individual, proud of his heritage.
Goals & Objectives
As an academic unit, the Library exists to support the curricular, research, and extension service programs of the University. It shall serve the information needs of its clientele โ administration, faculty, staff, students and alumni of the University. It shall open the avenues to outside researchers who are in search of this same information.

is the frontline service of the library, where the client encounters before they can avail of the library services. This is the section of the library where transactions for loaning and returning are processed, and is considered a place for information dissemination.
The main objective is the provide library patrons access to the information resources. The reference work is directly concerned with assisting users' information and with using the resources in their study and research.
Display of the list of new acquisitions, announcements, and other library information updates. Actual exhibit of newly processed materials.
When there is a need for library material that is not available in the library, the researcher is referred to other librarians. The UNEP students are furnished with a request letter addressed to the head librarian whom the student wishes to visit, The University Library reciprocates these services by allowing the qualified researchers from other institutions.
Internet facilities are provided to enable users to have greater access to rich information sources on the Internet.
This service utilizes a cellular phone as a tool for the delivery of information. Patrons can send a query through a text message. The attending librarian will answer through text as well, and receive specific and brief answers from the attending librarian.
