Yesterday, my driver, Noynoy, told me that UNEP won 25 gold medals at the PRISAA meet. I was so excited and contacted the Vice-President for Finance about it. Everyone became excited and started to prepare for the homecoming of these victorious athletes of UNEP. Congratulations on your incredible victory. Today’s celebration is a recognition and appreciation of your hard work and steadfast determination to win in athletic competitions. You have achieved success not only for yourselves but also for your family, friends, colleagues, your community and your coaches and mentors. Your hard work and determination have paid off. You have made the entire UNEP family so proud of you. You all played with heart and soul. Congratulations on a well-deserved win. Victory Is sweeter when shared, and you achieved greatness together. It was a fantastic team effort. That is why we have this group celebration. Victory brings a heroic feeling that allows winners to stand at the top after countless hours of hard work and discipline. We are so proud of your accomplishments. You have continued and preserved the tradition of UNEP athletes winning championships in PRISAA games. I remember my late father, Felix Alfelor. Sr. He was the President of the PRISAA for years when I was in elementary school. He always ensured that competing athletes came home with winning medals and pennants. Your athletic excellence has inspired other students to become athletes themselves, learn new abilities, and set new goals to pursue continued growth. Your athletic victory has also inspired you to continue pushing yourselves to be your best, and it helps you approach the game with a sense of pride and accomplishment. UNEP will continue to support you to maintain your athletic excellence and physical and mental health. You really worked hard for this moment, so let us enjoy your victory. Congratulations!
